I posted a few weeks ago to ask for advice about the best way to care for a T60 battery. I recall that one contributor to the thread recommended keeping the battery at roughly 98% charge.

My machine wants to charge the battery to 100% (and the battery accepts). Is there a way to manually direct the T60 to charge it only yea high? Or is it an automatic all or nothing mechanism?

Will the life of the battery suffer if kept at 100% charge?

    Thanks.

As long as you are not overcharging it, I think it will be fine. It will stop charging once it hits 100%.
