    Hello,

I have a Lenovo keyboard (PN 42T3134, FRU 42T3168) which is meant to be installed in Lenovo T60 notebook.
As the keyboard is so good, I am willing to use it with my desktop PC as well, so I wonder if it is possible to create adapter to connect this keyboard to PC using USB.
Is there anybody who has done it before and could guide me on how to make this keyboard available with USB?

    Thank you in advance
    Janis

    Thank you Erik,

Do you know if there is difference if you connect just keyboard or as lenovo has = keyboard+trackpoint?

The problem which I face is that this particular Lenovo keyboard has 27 pin connection, but any usual USB keyboard, has just 26 pin connection. I have no idea which of the pin should be left and not connected.

And is there any algorithm how to connect to have the keyboard working properly in DOS mode, not to have any software which changes the key settings?

i have no idea.   i have a USB trackpoint keyboard and never found any need to try and hack up a thinkpad keyboard to accomplish the same thing. :)
