    T60 lid wont close properly

    I just received my T60 (14.1) and it seems like the left latch is not closing all the way. It latches in place but it's lose. The right latch is fine. Anyone have the same problem? Is this normal? Thanks for your help!

    Depends what you call lose. When I close my T60 and the hooks lock in i can still move the lid up and down a bit. Maybe 2mm total. But both left and right are the same.

    Once I close the lid, the right side is pretty tight. If I press on the lid there is barely any movement or sound. On the left side, if I press on the lid once closed, it makes a clicking sound as there is movement up and down. You've mentioned that yours is a bit lose on both sides. Does it also make clicking sounds if you press on the lid once closed?

    No it doesnt. Sounds like the hook doesnt lock. Check if the hook and the hole look ok and there is nothing inside or damaged.

    My left latch is good. But my right latch is loose...lol.

    My left lid is loose (maybe 1mm of play) while the right is tight on my t61
