How come Lenovo is only offering XGA res screens for T60 configurations on their site? Are they out of the 1400 res that they have offered on the configuration but blacked out so one can't select it?

I wanted to pick up a T60 but I cant stand the 1024x768 resolution so I'm looking at the R60 instead where I can get the 1400x1050 resolution.

    Anybody know what's going on?

I can see it too. Can you select it when configuring?

For some reason, (read: to make more money) Lenovo's site will only allow the 14" SXGA when you've upgraded the CPU to T2400 or higher, so if you haven't done that yet, it won't let you select it. If that's not the case sorry I wasn't helpful.

You need to select the T2400 (1.83Ghz) processor or higher in order to enable the option to select the 1400x1050 resolution screen.

As a matter of fact, if you select the T2600 (2.16Ghz), the only screen option is the SXGA+.

Also, the 15" IPS screen is only availble if you choose the T2700 (2.33Ghz).

    Hope that helps.

Edit: Reize beat me to it by a minute!!

Well feel comforted in the fact that you explained it more thoroughly than I did. ^^
