I ordered my first laptop last night when Vista was able to be shipped and installed. Got the T60 widescreen with all the upgrades. My question is, has anyone ordered a T60 lately and how long did it take? Any delays?

I ordered back in December on the 6th mine definitely was delayed and the projected ship date was around January 15th. Don't let that scare you too much though, I ended up with it in my hands before Christmas.

It probably will take a few weeks for a customized one, but this seems to vary a lot depending on what exactly you put into it. I would say at worst case it can take a month, but it will probably ship much sooner.

Thanks for the info. One questions i have is, on the lenovo status order form there is the 2GB upgrade I ordered, but also down further there is a 1GB stick of ram. Down below I posted my thinkpad with both. Anyone have any ideas?

They do some weird stuff. The final invoice I got in my e-mail said I only was getting 1GB of memory, but that was because the quantity column was missing. In reality I was getting 2-1GB sticks.

My bet is that the top is a summary and the bottom is telling you that they are adding 1GB to the already stock 1GB? As in the extra part required for the upgrade? That's only speculation and if you are worried you can always call them and ask.
