I have been on the verge of ordering a t61 but have read so many posts regardinging the screen issues and I don't believe these are a few hard to please individuals.I have noticed t61 screens are off center and many say they are not very bright on certain screens. Is the t60 quality slightly better with better battery life and if I was to choose between 15.4 sxga +vs xga would the 1680X1020 resolution be too small for my over 50 eyes and is the wsxga+ a brighter screen and clearer or is the lower resolution? I have a choice of a T60 2 gig processor with 120 gb hd with the radeon1400 video vs I would order a t61 with 2.5 current perryn processor with integrated graphics and a 250gb hd and 2 gig of ram to run xppro. The later machine would be taloired to battery life.I deal with seniors doing presentations and it would be easir doing part D enrollments with a wwan card, but the screen is a paradox.I personally surf the internet and off times would watch an occational movie.Maybe too much information but would like input as to wether the quality of the t60 widescreen is better than the t61?Thanks for anyon's input.
