    Hi,

I have an issue with my boss' laptop being extended to 2x Dell 3007WFP monitors. I've connected it to the docking station so I can use the DVI out for the monitor. I also have an evga USB to DVI converter for the other monitor (max resolution @ 1280x800). Now my problem is this:

When I run one of the 30" monitors as the primary @ 2048 (which is the MAX i can get to, not even the native 2560 the 3007WFP uses), I get the virtual desktop (ie. it's at 2048 but i have to move the mouse to the edges of the screen to "scroll" through the whole desktop)

I've tried everything...I've even put the DPI to 75% lower to see if makes a difference. Alas, it does not.

I've tried updating the video card drivers. Nothing.

I've messing around the refresh rates. Nothing.

Can this laptop go to 2048 at all on external WITHOUT it being a "virtual" desktop?

My co-workers have the same laptop but on the built-in Intel graphics and theirs work just fine.

I'm clueless right now, any help will be appreciated!

I have the same laptop as you are mentioning which I use at work connected to two monitor via the IBM docking station. One monitor is hooked up via DVI and the other via VGA. I believe the resolution I am running is 1280x1024 on each monitor which stretches it to 1280x2048 or something like that.
