Hello all,
I'm wondering if this is possible before I buy another monitor. I have a Thinkpad t60 and this dock:

On the back of the dock, there's a VGA out and a DVI out. I am currently running dual screens where the internal LCD is one screen and the external monitor is the second screen (via VGA). This is not a problem, as it works fine.
However, now I want to have two external screens and DISABLE the internal screen (not 3 screens, only 2).
So, basically, with that dock, is it possible to:
* Plug in two external monitors of the same resolution, one into the VGA port, and one into the DVI port - both on the back of the dock.
* While the internal LCD is disabled, run both external monitors at the same time with an extended desktop across both of them.
has anyone done this? is this possible?
thanks,
sean

I have some problems getting dual external monitors to work.
How do you enable it? can´t find it either in the CCC settings nor the lenovo "Presentation director".
Thanks,

I have the advance mini dock and yes you can do dual monitors. However I thought that you had to have decrete graphics to use dvi or the newer intel onboard chipsets.

Does this advance mini dock have a part number or is it called adv mini dock...

The Advance Mini Dock has a part number which you should have no issues finding either by searching this forum, ebay, google, or going straight to lenovo.com.
