    Does anyone know if the T60 with the 64mb x1300 supports 1680x1050 resolution while runing 1400x1050 on its lcd?

    I have connected a secondary display through the vga port to the t60. And I am able to set the screen resolution to 2048x1536 with 60 Hz refresh rate. I hope this helps

    Not quite sure what you are asking...an LCD's natural resolution is its max. However, as irfan pointed out, the external can push much higher as that is limited by the video chipset (and the external monitor), not the LCD.

    oh re-read that and the grammar sank in....yeah, that's possible, Windows will allow you to run different resolutions on the 2 different screens.
