    What is the difference between the T60: T2500 (2Ghz) vs. T7200 (2Ghz)

Both have "Core 2 Duo" processors! Or Is the T2500 equipment with a "Core Solo" processor!

    T60 T2500
    Model: 2700-64U
    Part # 200764U

    Thanks,

    Sircas

The T2500 is a Core Duo, while the T7200 is a Core 2 Duo, thus they are not the same.

    Intel Core Duo T2500 Yonah 2.0GHz 2 x 1MB L2 Cache Socket M Processor
    vs.
    Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 Merom 2.0GHz 4M shared L2 Cache Socket M Processor

The T7200 has twice the cache and 64-bit capability. Otherwise they are basically the same, although the T7200 is based on the Merom core which has some enhancements over the Yonah (power savings, etc.). They are both dual core chips.

Processing ability: Mathematical Calc. Which is Faster! I assume the T7200.

    Adaptive/adinu,

    Most appreciated of the info!
