    T60->T41 Image not working

    I built up a WinXP SP2 image on a T60p and took a Ghost image of it using Ghost 2.0/11 Enterprise Ed. When I apply that image to a T41 it wont boot. In regular boot mode it comes up to a blank black screen, if I do safe mode it stops at MUP.sys. I cannot do a recovery as it will negate a universal image to work on both the T60 and T41.

    Any ideas as to what I can do?

    Using one image for multiple different hardware types is always asking for trouble.

    Could it have something to do w/T41 being PATA and T60 being SATA?

    The t41 and t60 uses completely different motherboard & chipset ie you'll need to install specific intel chipset drivers for each machine. In short the boot image isn't interchangeable from one machine to the other. Its like trying to fit a square peg into a round circle - just not possible.
