    TFT display - ThinkWiki

this should give you an idea. You would need to know the part number of the LCD, which can be obtained using programs such as Everest.

the majority of 2623-DDU models were AFFS but some were IPS.   you won't know the difference between the two technologies unless you've had both in front of you for comparison.

that is the LCD you have.

Also the 06-06 part is the manufacturing date and not the serial, so don't input that during the warranty look up.

AFFS is type of panel, UXGA is the resolution. So your screen is an AFFS panel with 1600x1200 res

Unless you've got a specific need to run CPU intensive apps, the T7600 probably isn't worth the time, effort and money. The T7200 offers much better value as it's about $100 cheaper while you're getting the increased L2 cache. Most things don't push the CPU enough to where you'd notice a difference.

The best SSD performance wise are the Intel drives. I'm going to close your other threads and you can direct all you T60 questions here, k?

    Hello,

Thanks for the info on the T7200, will this support the 32bit & 64 bit for the future, I will be running XP SP3 for now, but would like to upgrade to 64 bit in the future, is the T7200 4GB or 3GB? As far as the SSD's go, I am not sure if I need 128 GB or the 80GB Intel G2, what are the pro's & con's (Speed, Storage,etc...) I will be running a CADD program, maybe a few games, storage of alot of pictures.

    Thanks,
    BT60

3GB is the max for the T60. Don't waste your money buying more.
