    Which would you choose? I really like widescreen, but I here the Flex view screens are very good.

    The flexview screens are amazing, and if you'll be working with photos or other color-intensive applications it's almost a prerequisite. Widescreen is nice because of the screen layout. My advice would be to look at them in person if possible and see how which you prefer.

    You may have a hard time finding an IPS screen though, see this thread:

    If you don't "need" widescreen I'd spring for the IPS screen. It's simply the best matte display on the market.
