Does Lenovo make a high quality mouse worth buying?
I am running Civil CADD software & need a quality mouse!
    Any recommendations?
    Thanks

You could try this little guy here :

Amazon.com: Lenovo ThinkPad Bluetooth Laser Mouse - Mouse - laser…

Although I do NOT own one (I found out about them after I already purchaced a mouse) the reviews are quite good on them.
When my Logitech travel mouse craps the bed, I'm getting one of these puppies !
Nothing like a Thinkpad mouse to go along with your Thinkpad !!

Lenovo mouse is not that good, they are not really suitable for high precision work.

Get high end Microsoft, Logitech, Razer mouse if you need precision. I got a Logitech M950 and it is great.

For my home use i got the Microsoft Basic Optical Mouse v2.0, for some reason it is better than most mouses that costs 3 or 4 times as much. It is just as accurate as some of my laser mouse, and feels much more comfortable to use. I love it, so much so i got 15 of them when there was a $5 dollars sale in a large computer store.

The next day my friend got around 6 different stores and purchased 400 of them for his company, and his CEO and Managers all praised him for a good pick (apparently he got the employee of the month for that).

    Thanks,

I have a pretty good size hand. How would this Microsoft Basic Optical Mouse v2.0 suit me?

How big is that? My friend hand is pretty big hand, and he use the mouse alright for his CAD work in his architectural course.

For around 10 USD i don't think you would go wrong.

that doesn't tell me much unfortunately, as the size of hand is not always proportional to the height and weight.

What is the width of the palm and the distance between the tip of index finger to the wrist?

What's your budget? If a mouse is really that important for you, I would look at Logitech Performance MX.

MX518 is okay i had one, but the M950 is all together in another league.

Actually physically, the Microsoft Basic mouse is only slightly smaller than a MX518.

Basically, you either go high end or go with the al cheapo Microsoft mouse that i suggested.

Shoe size is though, and he won't need a measuring tape. Well...it's often proportional. I know one person for whom it isn't.
