    Hi
can somenoe help me with international warranty.
i was looking in IBM/Lenovo site about buy T60P computer.
and today i read this review of T60:
    http://www.notebookreview.com/default.asp?newsID=3002

and i read this over there:
"Also note that certain models (e.g. 2007xxx) have international warranty, whereas other models (e.g. 2623xxx) only have U.S. warranty and are therefore cheaper"

    in lenovo site:
"International Warranty Service (IWS): IWS is available during the warranty period to customers who travel or relocate to countries where their computer is sold and serviced by a service provider authorized to perform warranty service. Eligible Lenovo computers are identified by their four-digit machine type.

You can obtain IWS through the method of service, such as CRU, depot, carry-in, or on-site, provided in the servicing country. Service methods and procedures vary by country, and some service or parts may not be available in all countries. Service centers in certain countries may not be able to service all models of a particular machine type. In addition, some countries may have fees and restrictions that apply at the time of service. "

how can i know if this one that i am buying have international warranty?
can some one help me with link to one that have international warranty?

    Thanks allot

    Hi kastro,

I was in the same dilemna as you so I called up at least 2 Lenovo sales reps through the Lenovo hotline and the reply at both times was that "all Thinkpads have international warranty".

So I asked the 2nd sales rep why 2623 wasn't listed as eligible for IWS and her reply was "normally, 2623 customers will use the machine in the US" and that I don't need to worry about it.

I'm still not 100% because I didn't have my machine serviced yet (hopefully I never have to) but I was a bit confident after talking to the Lenovo sales reps.
