Hey guys, I need your help. When I open up my Network Connections, I am able to see my wireless adapter as well as the Verizon adapter, however, my ethernet connection is missing. Can anybody tell me how to fix this problem? Thanks in advance.

Check Device Manager and see if it is installed, or if there is anything that needs attention (i.e. yellow triangle).

plug your ac adapter in, the connection icon will come out.
    I think it's a new feature of t60 series...

Thanks guys, how can I disable this feature and what triggered it in the first place?

This is a power saving feature. If you plug an ethernet cable in while on battery the connection will also become active. I think the checkbox on the Power Management tab of the Device will disable it.

Yes, there's a checkbox to 'allow this device to be shutoff to save power' or something to that effect. There may also be an option in the power management applet. Sorry I can't be more specific, I don't have a Windows machine handy.

I really love being able to say that :)
