    I bought a T60p with 15 inch Flexview. I LOVE 1600x1200!

Anyway, I want the display to be brighter. I have already replaced the display with a new factory original HV150UX1-100 UXGA 13N7076 display. The brightness has not changed. I now imagine that the old display was completely good.

I'm wondering if putting in a new inverter will brighten the display?

For reference, I have a Lenovo T510, HP Elite 6930p, and VIO PCG-7D2L. They are all much brighter than the T60p. I've attached a picture of it next to the T510. The color on the T60p is actually truer with the background gray, but less bright.
