I just got my T60p yesterday and i ran a system info/diag software and the video memory install/max was 512mb... so i ran two other ones just to make sure, and both of them has the V5250 set at 512MB... can anyone shine some light as to why this is??

Okay... edit on this, i just remembered.. the V5250 comes with hypermemory doesn it... so i'm guessing thats why it shows 512?

It's got 256MB GDDR3 as dedicated memory. It's got Hypermemory to get another 256 if it needs it. It'll only pull it when it needs it but the BIOS will report it as having 512 because that's the max.
