For some reason my wireless radio on my T60p lenovo thinkpad stops working after 3-5 minutes. I can turn it back on manually, but it always turns off by its self.
Is there any way to fix this without reinstalling XP? Because that is the first thing the IT guys will want to do when I take it in for repairs.

What is your wireless adapter and Operating System?

IF
It is turning off when you are not connected, it's power management.
There is a fairly large number of places that you have to change this including the Windows Power plans and lenovo plans there is one that's easily over looked. A couple of weeks ago I started a thread just to note that in this forum. -
It can also be interferance from other wireless devices

Thanks for the Replies
I am running Windows XP with all of the latest updates (I think the problem started after an update)
My wireless card (according to the device manager):
Intel(R) PRO/wireless 3945ABG Network Connection
The wireless will power off if I am online or off (even in the middle of downloads) I also have a bluetooth adapter, but have never used it and it stays powered off. -
Once Lenovo's Support & downloads page works again, I'll be glad to help you out.
Patience please. -
I have the same problem.. it worked fine until I did a system update from the ThinkVantage System Update. Now wireless is completely non-functional. Even reverting back to prior software levels does not work. Help!!
