If you configure it yourself you can end up getting a better deal off the lenovo website yourself. for me HD space and ram were not as much of a concern since I will upgrade those myself, and my total was 2292 shipped (with tax), or 2092 after rebate.

Same model, Atheros wifi, 60gb HD and 512MB ram are the only differences. Oh and XP Home which I will use my own copy when I wipe the system. I also added on the 3 year depot warranty, so that matches as well.

That laptop with 5.1% shipping will cost 2521 shipped, and 2321 after rebate for a slightly faster HD, and 60 bucks more ram preinstalled.
