My T60p produces strange noise from left bottom corner. And it is not constant noise. It can stop for a while (5 sec) and start again for 20 min. This noise is some kind of whistle noise. As far as I know HDD is from the right side. What can it be? Is it normal noise?

Does it go away if you turn off the manual radios switch?

mine makes a whistling noise like you described when the radios are on, but not all the time. I think I've seen it discussed here but I do not know a resolution for the problem.
