    hi all
I'm a newbie and I don't know which screen of the two is better than the other. Since I check on the Lenovo website today and see the option of Flexview for the Workstation for T60p...

will some experts give me the answer please !!!

    Thank you

Well, the T61p is using a newer technology, that's something to consider, though from what I have heard, the T61 keyboard is worse than the one on T60...

The Flexview screen is widely considered to be one of the best workstation screens available. However, if you need a laptop anytime soon, the T61p might be better because last I heard there were monstrous delays on the Flexview screen due to a lack of supply. Also the T61p can be configured with better and newer components.

Flexview is said to be the better of the screens.

I found a similarly configured T61p compared to the T60p (15.4" WSXGA+ widescreen) is considersably more expensive. For the extra money you get a slightly better processor (800 mHz fsb instead of 667) and a WUXGA screen, which is actually a con in my book.

And the "slightly better processor" will default down to 667 mHz bus fsb with todays memory modules, totally neglecting any potential speed advantages.

The cpu actually runs at 800fsb, asynchronously with the ram running at 667mhz. There is some performance loss compared to both running at 800mhz, but it's negligible. On the other hand, it is also negligibly faster than both running at 667mhz.
