My boot time is pretty short.
However, when I shut down it does not complete. It stays at the last phase of the shut-down - blank, blue screen with the mouse on (active).
I have to push the power button to turn it off...

    Anyone can help me?
    Peter

Pundit thank you for the info. Do I run UPHClean only once, or every time I boot?

You just install it once - it's an .msi (double-click and install).

What it does is a "hive" cleaner - meaning it detects profiles which will not close (for some reason or another) and close those when you invoke a shutdown, so it will speed up the shutdown process significantly.

Nothing worse than a long shutdown on a laptop - particularly if you're on the go.
