Hey guys, I'm having a rather strange problem with my T60p. When it's on AC power, everything works fine EXCEPT when I change the power manager profile. The screen will turn black and the computer will restart. When it's running on battery power, the notebook will boot up, windows will load, however, right before it prompts me for my password, the notebook will restart by itself again. This is really strange as it has never done this before. Can anybody help me?Thanks a lot

What system are you using now? I think if you are using the VISTA will have this kind of problems. Otherwise, call LENOVO for help....

I'm running Windows XP Pro, but I managed to fix the problem. It was just the incompatible Catalyst 6.9 drivers. Thanks though

Were those the Omega drivers? Or, the standard Lenovo version of ATI Catalyst?
I had some issues with the Omega drivers and the performance improvement was virtually none so I went back to the Lenovo drivers and everything is fine again.
My issues were: kept corrupting my background wallpaper, fn-space zoom would always defalt to centered instead of stretch after restart or waking up from sleep, max resolution changed from 1600x1400 to two thousand something (higher) but had no effect. Anyways, seemed pretty buggy. The lenovo Catalyst driver works great for me.
I heard older versions were less tuned and that newer versions were very comparable in performance to the Omega drivers but I didn't believe it until now. -
I was running the latest mobile catalyst drivers that you can download from the gaming forum on here. I just downloaded the ones from the Lenovo site and so far it's good. Thanks for the help guys.
