I seem to have difficulties putting the keyboard back on my T61 (14" widescreen model) properly after it's been removed. I was able to easily follow the instructions for removal and installation, yet once I assembled all the parts together (keyboard + palm rest), the keyboard wouldn't sit snug and flush within the roll-cage. There are a few hollow spots (more like a gap between the keyboard plate and the roll-cage), especially in the top right corner. When I press the keys in that part of keyboard, the plate would sag and hit the metal part underneath emitting an annoying clacking sound. Is there some secret trick or what should I do during the installation to ensure the keyboard does sit tightly and firmly in the base? (Yes, I tightened all the screws properly.) Thanks for ideas.
BTW. The HMM for T61 states that screws should not be re-used. Why is that? I don't understand... do you replace all screws with new ones when you disassemble your laptop?
