    Will the T61 or T61P receive options for gaming cards instead of their current workstation cards just like the T60 had with the X1400?

    Like a Nvidia 8600 GS instead of the Quadro Card?

    no, but you probably can just use the 8600GS or 8600GT driver

    I'm so curious as to what you mean exactly. how can i use another driver on different hardware with different specs. Explain! ..... please

    usually they don't use different hardware for the workstation graphics cards but they use the regular ones with different drivers and/or different bios.
    For example the FireGL 5250 was basically a x1700 and it was possible to use modded drivers for it. The FX570m will probably be either a 8600GS or 8600GT and therefore there might be a chance that you can use drivers that are optimized for gaming purposes (lower acuracy in the calculations, but higher speed)
    But even if that is not possible - the card will still be capable of gaming. Just a little bit slower than the corresponding consumer graphics card
