While I am awaiting my T61 from Lenovo, I was wondering what you are using as a case for your 14-inch T61. I am looking for something with a slim form factor. A low profile sleeve would be ideal, but I would also be interested in what cases you have found to be good. Specific brands/models would be great...Thanks!

I would suggest a neoprene case, as i already have a regular jansport daypack which lacks the bottom cushions. So, getting a neoprene sleeve would provide the cushioning as well as scratch resistance (apart from the nice rough finish of thinkpad) and water proof ability to your thinkpad. Also, you can simply carry your thinkpad in the sleeve if you are moving inside your office/library etc. Sleeves give me more flexibility than a laptop bag.

Also, a good neoprene case can be found in amazon and else where for under 15$

are you looking to use this case/sleeve independently of any other cases/backpacks etc? if so I have been using an Archetype from Tom Bihn with my T61p 4:3. It fits my Computer and ac adapter perfectly. Its basically a zippered sleeve with carrying handles and loops for a shoulder strap.

Waterfield should have sleeves for everything. If they don't have your specific specs -- just give them the dimensions and they will make a custom one for your laptop.

I am looking for a case and sleeve (high quality and water-resistant) that work well in both business and casual environments. I like the SF Bag sleeves, but I would prefer a sleeve that zips.
