I have a T61 CTO with the Intel 3945ABG WiFi card. Here is my problem:

    1. WiFi switch on the front is ON
    2. Boot up computer...

    Background
Normal (occurs 1/4 reboots, everything is OK)
    • WiFi LED is green
    • Bluetooth radio works fine
    • After reboot WiFi searches and connects properly.

    Problem (occurs 3/4 reboots)
    • WiFi LED is green
    • Bluetooth radio works
    • After reboot, WiFi doesn't connect as the WiFi radio is OFF.
    • Fn+F5 brings-up the menu, but clicking on the 802.11 radio button results in nothing. (No status change... as if the "button" doesn't work)
    • Everything lists as OK (device manager, etc.), LED is green, etc. However, the radio does not turn on.
    • The only way out is to reboot... sometimes twice, before I get back to the "Normal" situation.

This "seems" to me like a software issue. I have double checked and this laptop has been fully updated through Lenovo's site and through Microsoft.

Any ideas how I can isolate the culprit and resolve this?
