    T61 : June Orders

    Lenovo's website is now back to 1-2 weeks shipping display. Display of further delays on selection of 15.4" WSXGA also disappreared. (Ofcourse I know it doesn't mean much anyway).

    But me and few of my friends' early June orders(6/2, 6/3, 6/5) are still in process and for us it is still same story - the false promises - shipping by this weeknd.

    Lately, I haven't seen anyone getting their June orders, while T60 is in fast lane.

    Please let us know if you have received your June order or even if you are waiting for your order. That will help me, my friends and many others to decide if we should go for T60 instead of T61.

    Wow, over a month of waiting and they still haven't shipped your orders?! That's pretty bad. Makes me nervous about my 6/28 order.

    I hope the stuff that happened in May isn't happening again.

    Your 6/28 should be just fine.
    Only the May, early June orders got stuck in a limbo. :(

    Unfortunately - Lenovo has admitted/acknowledged delays only for May orders - http://www.lenovoblogs.com/insidethebox/?p=84

    And few of May orders are still waiting!!!

    Makes me wonder if I should just cancel and reorder! I don't care about deal anymore - I just need ThinkPad T61. But I need few people replying to this thread - who have ordered around June and got it or waiting for it to confirm.

    @Unhooked - How do you know if the manufacturing is streamlined now?

    I believe that they're going out a lot faster than Lenovo is telling. I ordered my T61 on 6/18 and received it on 6/28

    I guess I'll just keep the old order as it is and order a new one and see which one comes first. (why didn't i do it earlier :p)

    I so hate lenovo for handling orders this way.

    i ordered 15.4 screen on the 24th of june, shipped today, 7/7, est. ship date was 7/12

    I ordered my T61 14.1 on 6/28 and just got an e-mail that it shipped tonight! We'll see how long it takes to arrive ;)
