    T61 - My Keyboard Rests On A Slight Angle

    I've had the T61 for a long time so overall, I like it.

    But I did recently notice that the keyboard rests on a slight angle to the extent that if you lift the laptop and look at the keyboard in profile from the front, you can see that the right side of the spacebar (and in fact the keys on this side of the keyboard) rest slightly lower than the left side.

    Has no affect on the actual usage and in fact, I initially thought it was because I tend to press the space bar with my right thumb but soon noticed it was the entire right side.

    It does make me think I'll end up having to replace the keyboard sooner than I'd like.

    Is this part of the T61 construction? Anyone else have this?

    It may be intentional to allow for proper drainage in the event of a spill.

    Did some further research and found a fix.

    Turns out the keyboard itself was not 100% straight. Was able to fix it as per the directions of another guy who encountered the same thing back in 2007.
