    Hi guys

it's been a week since i bought my T61 with dedicated graphics. Get a good vista experience rating of 4.1 with NVS quadro 140m. Pretty happy. had a lot of vista tweaks done.

The laptop is nice and sturdy but the battery seems to have some slight 'play'. It does not snap in and sit tight in its compartment. Do you guys have such a trouble.

Although the keyboard is spill proof upto 60cc, it's open in the two sides where i can literally SEE the components inside (through a 2 mm gap in the sides). Is this same with everybody or jus my lappy.

as far as the battery charging thresholds are concerned, i have the following setting...

    charge on 40%
    charge upto 80%

this is my setting when i am around the school, when a power source is easy to find.

During travel i bump up the settings and change it to ...
    charge on 90%
charge upto 99% (to prevent any trickle charging at 100%)

any suggestion on the charge setting would be helpful to me.

    krish
