    T61 14.1 battery life question

    Hi, I am wondering how much battery life I can get with 14.1 inch T61 using the 9 cell battery:

    1. For gma x3100

    2. For NVS 140M

    50% brightness, wifi on, typing + surfing

    The TA book claims a battery life of 8.6 hours with the 9 cell for the x3100 and a battery life of 6.0 hours for the NVS 140M.

    But in reality, I would guess that a battery life of a 4.5 hours with the integrated and a battery life of 3.5 hours dedicated graphics sounds more reasonable.

    Also, would the 9 cell stick out MASSIVELY? Following logic, if the 6 cell sticks out, wouldnt the 9 cell stick out a lot?

    How about the 9 cell? Does it stick out like twice as much? That would be a horrible thought lol :p

    The pictures above is the 9 cell. The 6 cell doesn't stick out on a standard screen T61.

    Oooohh, I thought that was a widescreen with 6 cell.

    What about a widescreen with 9 cell? Can you have that?

    Only the 15.4'' wide screen has 9 cell. The 14.1'' wide screen does not have a 9 cell option, only 7 cell.
