I can't decide between the 14.1 and the 15.4. My main concern is battery life. If I go with the 14.1 and the 7 cell do you think I'd get more or equal battery life as if I went with the 15.4 with the 9 cell?

I think the 15.4" 9 cell will offer a little more battery life.

Not to mention some other things it will offer over the 14.1" model:

-memory card reader built-in to the chassis (so you can have express card slot and memory card slot)

-headphone and mic jacks located on the side instead of the front

-usb ports are arranged a little better

    -better discrete graphics (someday)

    -the obvious... more viewing area

Best is to go look at a 14.1" and 15.4" in a store.

HP has a 14.1" out that I went and looked at and found the size to be great for me so I went with the T61 14.1"
