The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I am very happy with m T61 but have a few quirky problems.

    1. I disabled my bluetooth from day one. But the other day, the green indicator light at the bottom of the lcd turned on for bluetooth. I checked my services, and it's off - but the light is on?

    2. When my volume is set to medium to high, and I close the lid and dock it - I get this horrendous high pitched feedback from the laptop speakers - I don't have it connected to external speakers. I'm at a loss.
