    hey...is it ok to run my battery on my T61 14wide down to below 10%?..also does anyone have the model/id number for the ultrabay battery for the 14wide inch T61?...thanks

    If you want best/longest battery life then no, 10% is too low, its best to keep it at 40% i believe, but really who can do that if they need it on the go...

    my philosophy is who really cares...it's only going to make a difference of only a few mo of usage at the most. Just use your battery w/o concern.

    I plan on getting a new notebook once every year or year and a half anyways so my battery will last me that long no matter what I do to it
