    1. Primary question: Does the WAN AT&T option support 3G?

    2. How long from order date is it likely to take until I receive unit?

3.I am ordering today or tomorrow and saw one 10% discount eCoupon online, any other such hints?

    4. Any major downside to sticking with XP? I have no deire to re-learn any functions

    5. Any special suggestions or caveats on particular equipment choices? (I will be using this as an occasional secondary machine- desktop is primary. My main reason for choosing this is reliability, keyboard, trackpoint. I am pretty much committed to the T61 model.)

Thanks in advance for help on any of the above.

    1. Yes
    2. Could be anywhere from a Week to a month
    3. Google Lenovo CPP
    4. If you upgrade to 4 gigs of ram in the future you will not be able to access all 4 gigs unless you upgrade to Vista 64....You can make Vista look similar and act like XP pretty easily not a huge learning curve...Most every program that works in XP will work in Vista, and for ones that do not work in Vista you can use XP Comp mode. You are buying a new computer, might as well get Vista.
    5. Depends on what you do (or want to do) with your computer, if you just surf the web and do word processing then the base model with integrated graphics will suffice...If you run any graphics intensive programs you will want to upgrade to dedicated graphics. You will probably want to get bluetooth and a DVD Burner, I would not get turbo memory as it is extremely buggy and does not provide any tangible increase in performance.
