    The description says "ThinkPad T61/R61 14W 4 Cell Standard Battery". How could I argue with Lenovo? :)
    The T61 and the T61p are build the same, so the battery should work.
    But you don't find any T61p with this battery - only 6- and 9-cell batteries. I think that's because of the energy-hungry graphic card (nVIDIA Quadro 570M). So you will not have long hours working unplugged.
