It seems every other time I try to put the notebook to sleep the screen will go black, but the green icons at the bottom of the lcd stay lit. I then have to hold the power button down to shut if off. I have all the latest software installed via System Update.

    Are you using Bitlocker?

No bitlocker. I'm always connected to wifi. Other apps I typically have running are outlook, jungledisk, LMI and ignition, and avast. Sometimes IE and FF as well.

Have you got the latest BIOS loaded?

Does the Event Log show anything?

I have BIOS 2.26 - the current one.

Nothing in event logs other than my dirty shutdowns.
