I received my T61 (6459CTO) and I'm having a problem with the 802.11 Wireless Radio powering off on it's own. It happens during long sustained network transfers.

When I hit Fn+F5 I see that the 802.11 Wirless Radio is powered off but hitting Power On does nothing. In Access Connections I hit Find and it tries to power on the wireless radio but it can't. The only way to fix it is a hard reboot. If I try to shutdown through Vista it just sits at "Shutting Down".

I have tried a clean install and restored the factory install and the problem still exists.

    Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN
    Widows Vista 32-bit
    Latest drivers and BIOS

Power savings is set to maximum performance and the laptop does not go to sleep when plugged in.

I'm using N mode and this happens when running on AC power (haven't tried on just battery). I have four other wireless PC's on this network which have no problems at all (but they are all running on G). I'm using WPA2 encryption and a DLINK DIR-655 router (latest firmware).

Any one else experiencing this? Any suggestions?

    Thanks
