Am about to order a T61 but noticed on the Summary Review page that it lists only "Power cord: Country Pack North America". Does this mean I need to order the 90W AC Adapter? Or is it included (for no charge) with the laptop?
Am I also to assume that the 2 - 72W Adapters that I used with my old T23 and T40 cannot be used with the T61?
-
you get one ac adapter with the laptop.
the ac adapters for the 60-series are incompatible with the ones for the 40s, 30s, and 20s. Dont even try it, you'll wreck your machines power supply. -
SB,
Thanks for the info. I didn't want to assume anything.
In the past, my employer would take care all of the ordering.
Now I can place my order for my very first personal laptop.
Thanks again. -
Maybe I'm dense but I still don't see where the AC adapter is:

Every laptop comes with an AC adapter. How else can you charge your battery?
-
Well duh, good point, but I just thought that if they could list an FCC Label,
they could list the AC Adapter (and type e.g. 65W, 72W, 90W etc). -
