When I use my laptop on my bed or something, it goes to sleep automatically and unexpectedly. I'm guessing that it has to do with heat. I don't think think it used to happen. The fan works.

Is this is normal or a sign of something wrong? Is there a way to adjust this. I didn't see anything on the bios.

I notice under a heavy load like encoding a video the cpu temp gets to 71C, according to cpuid. This is when it's not on the bed.
