Any news on this? Would be nice if they would come out with at least a player as more and more of my movies are Blu-Ray.

Panasonic has made a 9.5mm height drive which will fit the T series, but I've not heard anything about it getting it. I wouldn't be surprised to see it show up in the new T series.

Will that drive work in a T60p?

If it has the ultrabay thingy, I think it might.

However, I think getting bluray now is still too early. The prices don't justify it.

I was looking at a R61, one with integrated and another with discrete graphics, and the one with discrete has Blu-ray available. But I was told that Blu-ray is only available with discrete graphics which I don't like since it uses, I was told, 25% more power. Lastly, I found that Intel has or is coming out with an integrated chip, the Intel GMA X4500, that will play Blu-ray - I think this is the way I want to go.
