Is it normal for a T7500 to be running near 70 degrees celsius when the ambient temp is around 80 degrees Fahrenheit?

I have a t7300 T61 and I stay around 43C-50C, if I do gaming it goes to up to 60-70. My room temp is typically 80F.

I am getting those temp measures using CoreTemp.exe

I would say NO you should not be getting 80C all the time, is that when you are using it heavily for a long duration? Then yes. But when the fans kick in it should drop down significantly, then it will climb up when the fans kick off.

The difference between a 7300 and 7500 is nonexistent. One is a higher clock, but they all have the same components. You should probably be around 10C more than me at the most ( 50-60C idle, 70-80C working )

    Just guessing.

Nope, send it back, 70c is way to high.

The normal temp for that ambient temperature is around 41-45c. Full load temp is mid 50ish.

Make sure than when you are comparing temps everyone is using the same program. There is no promise that the number is even getting read correctly when using one of those app. If the system is stable, just stop worrying about the temps.

well using Everest I am getting about 45 degrees celsius right now just using the internet. but if I game, than it is most definitely going to bounce up to 70. But yes my system is stable and hasn't shown any signs of an overheating CPU. so I'm not that worried. But 70c is pretty damn hot.

Wow how hot are these systems supposed to be? Are we not mixing up Farenheit and Celsius? A typical hot day is 30 C or 85F.
