I've been using my T61 happily as a frequent mobile user (meaning I go on battery a lot) for 5 months now. Just this trip to Denver three times the weirdest thing happened: I took my laptop out of Standby mode (running XP s2), I plug in the charger, and the whole system freezes! The backlight doesn't brighten so I can tell the freeze happens before the system is fully running at 100% power (full brightness, full CPU speed, full screen refresh speed, etc.).

Has anyone also seen that plugging in the charger freezes the whole system? I have to hard shut down (press and hold Power button for 5 seconds) and start up again.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated!

If it only happened one time, I wouldn't mind...
