Probably questions like this were asked many times, but there is a new "twist".
I have t61 with Windows 2008 server installed. I want to use dual monitor mode: 22 inch monitor + notebooks monitor. When I first connected LCD monitor the picture was still on notebook's monitor. After reboot the picture "moved" to the external monitor, and notebook's monitor stays blank despite all my efforts. Pressing <Fn>+F7 also does not do any good. It blanks the external monitor for a second or two, but notebook's monitor stays blank.
I have also Gateway with Vitsa ultimate installed. No problem. It gives me several options to choose from. Is it t61 or W2K8?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have nvidia control panel installed on your laptop? You can set your dual display settings there under "set up multiple displays"
