For no apparent reason at all, my Ethernet port stopped working and it was working fine up until about an hour ago that I know of. When I go to the Device Manager, and click for Properties of the Intel 82566MM Gigabit Network Connection, it says "This device cannot start. (Code 10)"

I tried uninstalling the device and re-installing the driver, but that didn't seem to change anything. Anyone have any ideas?

Have you installed any drivers or software , they can block your device drivers , a friend installed some software to jailbreak an ipod and it blocked his wifi and sound device driver from working.
