At the office I have an additional monitor. I extend the desktop in XP. I shut down and go home. I start up and open some apps. They are stuck in the extended desktop until I go in the properties and uncheck the extend desktop. Upon returning to the office I have to turn it on again... oof soooo many clicks :)

Is there an automatic setting that is intelligent enough to see if the extrernal monitor is plugged and then enable/disable the extended desktop accordning?

    Thanks!
    Terry
