    Hi all,
Yesterday I went to the airport and went through the Xray and there they broke my LCD cover. I don't know how to explain it but the cover of the LCD panel stick out of the panel I am thinking about sending it to Lenovo but as mine was out of warranty so I want to give it a try to fix it myself. I have included some pictures of it

It looks like it pulled the head of the screw through the bezel. You should just be able to push it back in.

well, the TSA people there said something like Ohh, there is nothing we can do for ya. Ya need to go to the TSA website or call some number and fill out a form. I found their attitude unaceptable because at first, they made me went through the special one-by-one check. So I have one guy did everything for me, including taking stuffs in and out the trays lah blah. I called the number and I'm gonna go up with them there. Too many steps and too much time though, I don't know if they are gonna give me anything or not.

Well, I tried to push the cover in but there is metal thing prevent me from doing it. The gap between the cover and the panel is at its maximum when I open the lid at around 45 angle. THe metal is shoed as the picture below.
Thanks for help guys, tell me if you need any information about it like picture or stuffs like that.

Insteal of just pushing it forcefully, you could try unscrewing it and aligning it. If not, call Lenovo and see what they say

Like i said its the head of the screw you need to unscrew it if you cant push it through. pop off the little screw cover and take out that screw. Its really not a hard fix. You can get a new bezel for around 20 or 30 bucks off ebay.

I am not at home right now so I don't have the tools to unscrew the bezel but I definitely will check it out
