    T61 Nividia Quadro NVS 140M Driver

    I currently have the 156.66 drivers installed. I noticed that there are many newer drivers listed at:

    http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/drivers/vista

    Is there any reason to upgrade? Everything is running fine at the moment. I am just curious if the newer drivers will give a noticeable improvement.

    as long as it doesn't crash then it should be better somewhat.

    Just for information, the one on the Lenovo Website is driver v156.66.

    those upgrading driver thing, basicly based on ur needs. because some people feel some version driver work well with their needs (playing games for example) but if u find u satisfied with ur current driver. in my opinion u dont need to upgrade it.

    but i do upgraded mine using the latest one. 169.28 :D

    so far running smoothly.

    upgrade it on ur own risk.

    kaede, what games do you play with that driver?

    I looked the driver up and it doesn't say that 140M is supported, I guess the supported video cards list doesn't matter much?

    u must download the modded inf. and install it using have disk option. from there u will see quadro nvs140M.

    ummm, my t61 still fresh install. tryin to find a game to play. any advice?

    You can try to find some demos to install and try, like the Bioshock or Crysis demo.
