The latest Power Management Driver I can find is at http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-4GXPEG but if you read it, the T61 is not supported for Windows 7 with that one.

Where can I find a Windows 7 Power Management driver for the T61?

I can find Power Manager for Windows 7 but my understanding is you also need a Power Management Driver whether you use Power Manager or not.

I'm using this driver on my T61p for W7 x64.

    Go for it.

You don't need the Power Manager though. A dumb piece of software.

    Thanks, I'll try it.

I was also wondering whether you really even need a Lenovo Power Management Driver with Windows 7?

I don't remember if there was any lack of functionality, like lack of Sleep option, before the Power Management driver was installed on my system, but I do remember that there was improvement in battery life after the PM driver installation.

I don't like to install unnecessary or redundant software myself, but PM driver was useful, as far as I remeber.

Being a bit off topic, I'll say that I have recently installed W7 on my girlfriend's ThinkPad X31 and there was no Sleep option until the PM driver was installed. And other functionality, like Wi-Fi and even sound, was lacking too right after the clean install, making an impression that W7 DVD is not that loaded with drivers, and the installation process relies more than before on driver downloads following the installation.

I just installed Windows 7 on my son's T61 and the only device that wasn't found by Windows 7 was the Ricoh multicard reader.

I then installed the Intel chipset driver from Intel site, Lenovo system interface driver, Intel Matrix Storage Manager from Intel site, Intel network drivers (wired and wireless from Intel site), Lenovo Ricoh 4-1 driver, Lenovo Power Management Driver, Lenovo Ultranav driver, Lenovo display and audio drivers.

Did not install access connections, power manager or any other of the Lenovo software.

I did have trouble once removing it from the advanced mini dock where the whole thing froze. But it was OK the next time.

    I'll see how it goes.

I didn't install neither Intel Matrix Storage, nor LAN drivers, I also found chipset drivers and WLAN drivers to improve nothing, but in addition to what you've mentioned I installed Hotkey Features, UltraNav Utility and Keyboard Customizer (solely to disable Back/Fwd keys near the arrow keys). Active Protection System is highly recommended as well.
